Training leading to qualification as an ICT is ordinarily a three-phase process. In the first phase, an employee observes training sessions. Then, he/she is assigned as an assistant trainer and works under supervision before assuming responsibility for groups as a co-trainer. Every training assignment is preceded by a preparation phase and followed by a review. Participants learn methodological principles and the personal skills they need to lead training groups confidently and in keeping with Coverdale standards.
